Apartment Building Mapping and Energy Use Analysis

SPR was commissioned to map Australia's national apartment building and dwelling stock, and to examine the coverage of two energy rating tools—the National Australian Built Environment Rating System (NABERS) and the Nationwide House Energy Ratings Scheme (NatHERS). of analysing the tools was to identify potential gaps or overlaps between these tools within the context of planned mandatory energy performance disclosure rules. We were also able to provide a high-level overview of energy use in the apartments sector, disaggregated by jurisdiction, fuel and end use (apartment dwellings/common areas).
